Volunteer Opportunity: National History Day in Colorado – State Contest Judge
National History Day in Colorado (NHDC) is seeking alumni volunteers to serve as judges for the NHDC State Contest on Saturday, April 25, held at the CU Denver Auraria Campus. Judges work in small teams to review student research projects, interview middle and high school students, and provide constructive written feedback using a clear rubric. Categories include papers, exhibits, documentaries, performances, and websites aligned with the annual National History Day theme.
No prior judging experience is required. Judges must commit to a full day of judging, and participation includes prejudging responsibilities during the week before the contest. This is a meaningful commitment.

Complete a required pre-judging assignment April 17–24
Bring a computer and charger
